In an X post, he stated that his main goals will be to reassure Binance's 150 million users about its "strength, security, and safety" and work with authorities "to uphold high standards globally."

Who Is Richard Teng?
Teng holds a Master's Degree in Applied Finance from the University of Western Australia. He started his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and later served as the Chief Regulatory Officer at the Singapore Exchange. Following this, Teng became the CEO of Abu Dhabi Global Market. Before joining Binance in August 2021, he sat on the boards of several established organizations such as Lulu Financial Group, Blockchain Association Singapore, and the Global FinTech Institute.
